This counseling focuses e. g. on providing relevant information about unfavorable social situation of the client, help with asserting right according to law. The counseling is provided in an ambulatory form in person, via phone, email, SMS or videocalls. The uniqueness of this services can be seen in the fact that we are able to match the communication means of our clients.
Mission of the service
Social counseling is here especially for persons with hearing impairment, such as individuals, families and for their closed ones. We offer support in various aspects of our clients’ lives. During our work we respect the mean of communication most suitable for our clients.
Goals of the service
Our clients are informed about possible solutions of their own situation and also about consecutive services. We are trying to support clients’ own competencies and we want to help them to solve their problems in an active way according to their own decisions.
Target group of the service
These services of our social counseling can be used by persons with any health disabilities or multiple disabilities, especially with hearing disability, that find themselves in an unfavorable life situation. Our services can be used by anyone who is more than 18 years old, minors can use our services only while accompanied by their legal guardian.
Our social counseling is provided in the most corresponding way possible, so it can be beneficiary to our clients. This counseling focuses on:
- social benefits and support, care allowance, benefits and charge deduction for persons with hearing disability or any other health disability,
- compensation hearing aids,
- help with managing phone calls, filling forms, writing and managing official correspondence,
- help with challenging life situations, such as loss of employment, housing, physical or mental abuse or other e. g. labor legislation and so on,
- informing about educational possibilities, methods and on providing relevant contact information.
It is also possible to try on or borrow compensation hearing aids and other proprieties in our social counseling rooms. We also offer maintaining of hearing aids, sale of batteries and other equipment.
