Centre for Children with Hearing Impairment Tamtam provides information about hearing impairment not only for its clients but also for professionals, institutions, schools, students, journalists, etc.
Tamtam publishes a printed quarterly called Dětský sluch in which you can found opinions from various specialists, families’ experiences and also information from abroad about current affairs. Its target group is mainly parents of children with hearing impairment but also professionals such as doctors, educators, psychologists, social workers and students of those fields.
This magazine is published with kind support of the Ministry of Health of Czech Republic.

Centre for Children with Hearing Impairment Tamtam conducts an informational portal, publishes specialized publications and also executes informational campaigns.
Our informational portal can be found on this address: www.idetskysluch.cz and it is a unique project that serves as a so-called entrance gate to the area of hearing disabilities. It is filled with complex and reliable information about almost every topic regarding hearing impairment. Information that can be found here is helping its readers to orientate in these topics and it can also reduce the negative impact of hearing disability not only on the kid himself but also on the whole family.
Tamtam also sends monthly electronic bulletin to all of its clients called ZPRÁVY Z TAMTAMU. It is primary intended for our parents.
Tamtam has a partnership with other organization called I Information Centre of Parents and Friends of the Hard-of-Hearing and within this organization we are also able to provide services of a specialized library. This library contains around 4 300 books from any area regarding life of people with any kind of hearing impairment. We can also offer sale of some publications, DVD and equipment.
